Moves to be Made

The GIANTS finished the pre-season on a high note last night defeating the PATRIOTS 19-14.  The PATS played their starting defense for the first half, and boy did they look old.  David Carr ran the GIANTS up and down the field against them using all back-ups after the first series of downs.

The GIANTS will make cuts and assignments tomorrow morning.  Look for a trade to be made also.  This team is deep at both running back and receiver, and equally as thin at linebacker.  The big names at risk?  Reuben Droughns vs a young Danny Ware.  Sinorice Moss vs. Brandon London and a few others for the last receiver spot.  The tight ends finally stepped up last night and had a big game.  Look for Darcy Johnson, who was on IR last year to step in and play behind BOSS and be in on short yardage situations.

The defense, especially against the run looks solid.  The offense with a healthy and practiing Plaxico Burress has the ability to run an opponent out of the building.

Depending on health and how the schedule actually plays out, I would say 10-6 is very achievable.

More tomorrow after the roster moves!
