Roster Finalized.........Almost

The GIANTS reported their and signings to the league today, but still have something in the works as they are at 54, one over the limit. Here are the cuts according to NFL sources, they cut CB Darren Barnett, DE Wallace Gilberry, DE Alex Morrow, TE Jerome Collins G Digger Bujnoch, WR Brandon London, LB Tank Daniels, DT Jeremy Clark, OL Na'Shan Goddard, OL Andrew Bain, S Stuart Schweigert, CB Geoffrey Pope, FB Robert Douglas, WR Marcus Monk, LB James Terry, OL Cliff Louis, OL Kurt Quarterman, TE Eric Butler and DT Ogemdi Nwag buo. 

Notice that Sinorice Moss remained on the team and they still have both Reuben Droughns and Danny Ware listed at running back.  That would make 5 backs, which is usually one more than you need.  They also we're said to have released both Anthony Wright and Andre' Woodson leaving them with just 2 quarterbacks in Eli and David Carr.  Now these players may all be re-signed to the practice squad as well as brought back at any time in the next few days.

They also signed 44 year old kicker CARNEY formally of the Saints, to kick in TYNES place till he heals.  TYNES remains on the team and will hold a roster spot till he returns.  This must mean the doctors think he is pretty close to returning, or they would never carry 2 kickers on the roster.
